 The Green Light Fundraising Mastery program is a breakthrough, results-oriented, 18-month program that helps you set a sustainable fundraising goal and achieve it.

Through group and individual coaching, the Green Light Fundraising Mastery program will give you the training, skills, and support you need to lead sustainable fundraising from concept to completion of your first campaign.

The Mastery program is limited to no more than eight people, making to possible for me to give you the attention you need to succeed your nonprofit’s first sustainable fundraising campaign.

Through the Mastery program you will learn to lead a successful campaign and you will lay the foundation for increasing your fundraising year after year.

 

What’s special about the Green Light Fundraising Mastery program?

Three things set the Mastery program apart.

First, the Mastery program is a breakthrough, results-oriented, start to finish program. You will plan and implement your own sustainable fundraising campaign and implement it. During the 18-month program, I will walk you through every step it takes to complete your first campaign. My goal will be to help you meet or exceed your fundraising goal.

Second, you’ll become the sustainable fundraising expert for your nonprofit. You will learn sustainable fundraising by doing each step to create a sustainable fundraising program for your nonprofit that will grow year after year.

Third, you’ll learn to create a sustainable fundraising campaign tailored to your organization and your community. At the beginning of the Mastery program you will work through a discovery process, gathering the information needed to develop a sustainable fundraising program that fits your nonprofit and your community.

You will be well-prepared as the campaign director, relaxed and enjoying the people and processes of the campaign.

Your nonprofit will receive regular major gifts with 80% of your fundraising income coming from 20% of your donors, in a four-week period each year.

The stories about how your nonprofit transforms lives will be word of mouth in your community.

It will be easy to recruit volunteer leaders each year because word will be out that you are well-organized and make life easy for them.

Volunteers will be bonded to your organization and will volunteer year after year.

You will raise more money every year, even during a recession.

 

How does the program work?

The Green Light Fundraising Mastery is an 18-month program. Up to 8 people will be selected for the program by application only.

Stage 1: Discovery and design. In the first six months you will discover the opportunities and obstacles to your nonprofit adopting sustainable fundraising. You will develop a sustainable fundraising plan tailored to your nonprofit and your executive director and board will begin recruiting the campaign chairperson.

Stage 2: Making your case and recruiting leaders and solicitors. In the second six months you will complete the recruiting of campaign leadership, create a case statement, recruit a marketing committee and with their help, create a marketing plan, do the inner circle phase of the campaign, do any direct mail or special event that is part of your plan, and complete the recruiting of volunteer solicitors.

Stage 3: Kickoff the asking, media blitz, and celebrate success. In the third six months you will prepare for the kickoffs, teach all volunteers the GOOD way of asking, complete the media blitz, and complete the face to face asking phase of your campaign. You will wrap up the campaign with a celebration for the key volunteers and donors. You will meet with key volunteers and staff to review the campaign and identify ways to improve the campaign for the following year.
